PREPARACION PARA UN HURACAN 

Con la posible llegada del huracán  en la costa de Florida, nos gustaría que todos nuestros clientes estuviesen informados y preparados. Es muy importante que usted tenga a mano los números de sus pólizas de seguro (carro/casa/inundación) así como los números de teléfonos de las aseguradoras. Abajo estamos enviando los nombres y números de teléfonos de las compañías. También puede visitar nuestra página web: www.aipflorida.com (‘claims’). En caso de algún siniestro entre en contacto inmediatamente con la aseguradora, todas tienen un número de teléfono para reportar siniestros y atender a sus clientes con prontitud. Tenga cuidado y no sea víctima de las compañías de reparaciones fraudulentas y no firme ningún documento sin antes consultar su aseguradora.

 

Para la seguridad suya y de su familia, abajo incluimos una la lista de artículos importantes que debe tener en casa. Siga las instrucciones del gobierno y de FEMA si es necesario.

COMIDA Y AGUA

Pack non-perishable food for each person for 3-7 days.

· Bottled water (1 gallon/person/day)

· Bottled juice

· Two coolers:
One fordrinks & one for food

· Canned foods

· Manual can opener

· Dry pet food

· PRODUCTOS MEDICOS

· Medic-alert tags

· Insect-repellent sprays

· Feminine hygiene items

· Sunscreen

· Soap

· First aid kit

· Prescription medication

· Over-the-counter medication

· Children's medicine

· Bandages

· Adhesive tape

· Antiseptic solution

· Thermometer

· Tweezers

 

Your pet will need more than a bag of food in a storm.

· Water for your pet for 3-7 days

· Non-perishable food

· Crate/carrier/tank

· Leash (non-extendable)

· Collar and/or harness

· Favorite Toy

· Blanket or pillow

· Clean litter box

· Updated shots and medical records

· Microchip with up-to-date contact info

· Any medications

· Calming aids

· Tags

· Puppy training pads

· Heartworm preventatives

· Rain gear

 

Tenga en mente que en la mayoría de los casos la falta de electricidad es por periodos largos y por eso es importante tener alimentos no perecederos.
